Thanking and praising God that Knox is doing much better thank you all for the prayers. The dumb thing ate a guitar pick and it messed his little insides up.... but is doing way better. Thank you for the prayers.
Praising God that my great aunt just had her 80th birthday, we threw a surprise party for her, and was so blessed to see some family members who haven't been out in a long time. Especially one of my great-uncles who had a really bad health scare, got to sit and talk to him for pretty much the whole party God is good! And seeing some evidence of Faith in him. Please pray that it is the case.
Thanking God for a new evangelism buddy. Shared in the past about the loss of my former one, how it truly broke me but God is so faithful in providing a new one, for the last event. Come to find out he was the funeral director for my dear uncle years ago, he started coming to our church about 6 months ago and is trained in apologetics!
So I end up sitting on this brother's porch drinking coffee while talking about tracts when it came up what he did for work. Mind you This is on 5 years to the day that my uncle died. Coincidence I think not! He remembered him and he was the one to clean him up and hide the tumor growing on his face so well for my grandmother. I remember that man prayed with the family, and was so thankful for him. Though I never got a chance to thank him. At least not then. And here he is talking about tracts! In place of my dear brother who had gone to be with Lord! God is so good!
Sometimes God will pull you back for a little bit and let you see how He has been working through it all. And I thank God for His mercy in this. God truly makes beauty from ashes and all praise to Him!
Was able from this experience to tell my grandmother I met the man that took such good care of her son, then spring off of that into telling her the Gospel. God is so good!
“Jesus said... “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,”
The only reason we have hope in this life and in the face of death is because Jesus Conquered it! If He didn't we are of all men most to be pitied! But He in fact did conquer death, hell, and the grave! He is seated at the Father's right hand ruling and reigning till all His Enemies are laid at His feet!
Only through Him we have hope and victory, though we die here, will live in Him. How can one keep silent with such a glorious hope!
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
