On Wednesday, as I parked my van outside the medical building before my doctor appointment, I noticed I was too close to the car next to me. So as I was pulling back to adjust, i heard a crunching noise on the front end. You know that cement oarking divider they put on the front end of each parking space? Well, the divider pulled on the front of the van and pulled it up & away a couple inches. My husband looked at it when I got home and said that we're probably looking at least at $400 to repair the damage. My last accident was in 2017 when our insurance went up, of course, after that. 😵 So, of course, I asked God for help that the cost would be minimal. My hubby then took it over to a car repair place yesterday morning where they popped it bac…

I was recently ask what I do daily. This is what I do every morning before I open my eyes when I wake up. I pray a prayer of Thanksgiving. I thank God for everyone and everything He had given me. I ask Him to bless my family, friends, neighbors, my church family and my minister. I pray for everyone on EDO and BPDEVO. I pray for our country and the world. I even ask God to bless me. To open my mind and heart to His will. It doesn't take long to connect with our Lord and savior each morning. And it starts my day off on a positive start. Italk to God through out my day and end ig again with a pray of Thanksgiving. I thought I would share this with you all.
Amen short and sincere prayers are better than an hour of just words.
My morning salute as I call it. Is Lord thank you for this day thank you for the time I have, thank you for the breath in my lungs, please help me to serve you and love you. i ask you be with xyz and please give me courage to do what I need to do today. amen then I look at the sunrise and say today is Yours, Lord Jesus, I surrender to your will. And salute. helps keep me focused. I serve Jesus He loves me!

We’d love to hear what God is doing in your life. Praises will be shared on Friday’s on BP Devo.
My salvation testimony:
My life was a treasure hunt seeking pleasure anywhere I could find it. But it was empty. I took advantage of people, lived selfishly, and only worked for profit to spend on myself.
Without purpose, college was an expensive waste of time so I enlisted in the military and spent my last summer at home spending away what I had laid up for college. Then I met a beautiful young girl named Susan and with all the wrong motives, began seeing her. Meeting her family, I was amazed at their kindness and devotion to God. Everyone has a Bible but they actually spent time every day reading and studying it. That was odd.
It turned out they were missionaries raising support for their ministry in Taiwan. I spent only a few weeks with them before they had to move on and I thought that was the last of it. Ten days later, they were passing back through and at Susan's pleading, they stopped by our house to say hello. I learned they were on their way to “camp” and I said that I loved to camp, wasn't doing anything that next week, and might drive up to see them, still with the worst motives. They were very welcoming to my coming up and gave me direction to “camp” at The Firs, outside Bellingham Washington.
I packed my car with camping gear and two days later, followed the directions north. Misunderstanding is part not hearing correctly and part not saying things clearly. I think the Holy Spirit played a part on both sides because I was not prepared for pulling into the paved parking lot of The Firs Bible Camp. Susan sought a private place to pray and chose the parking lot as it should be vacant. Susan's mother also happened to walk by as I pulled my car into a space. My intent was to immediately back out and head back home but as my eyes locked with Susan, I was committed. Susan's mom saw me too and immediately went to the administration building to pay for my week of “camp.”
That night, a band of missionaries held a prayer meeting for a long-haired, lost kid, and the next morning at about nine o'clock, I received Christ as my savior.

Good morning :)
I have been thinking about this for oh so long.
I do not have “a” testimony, every day is a testimony!
When I wake up I am breathing. What an amazing process! I thank Him every morning. I am grateful for His higher thinking. I am so far from being able to create anything.
Then I open my eyes. An eye! Indescribably complex. Allowing me to take in all of His creation from fruit flies to the cows grazing next door, trees and sky. Can I imagine that a Word created all? It hurts my head.
And then the daylight creeps up through the trees in that clear and concise silhouette.
Good to hear from you Connie. As you can see, Im not that great at keeping up on replies as I should be. Thankful for the opportunity to connect. Grandchildren are wonderful! Two of mine will be spending time with me today. Thanks for reaching out here. Happy listening and many blessings

"Let us not glide through this world and then slip quietly into heaven, without having blown the trumpet loud and long for our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Let us see to it that the devil will hold a thanksgiving service in hell, when he gets the news of our departure from the field of battle! I pray that when I die, all of hell will rejoice that I am out of the fight."
