Husband/marriage

Please pray for David, my husband, he seems depressed and in pain. He has started to slide back to his old ways of lying, hiding important things from me, he's keeping away from life. It's as if he gas blinded himself from everything that is around him. He's always on his cellphone playing games and watching videos. He's not active. So he's gained so much weight. Even our doctor is worried. His behavior is effecting our marriage and our finances. The only thing I know to do is pray for him.

I get so angry with his behavior. Please pray for him, me and our relationship. Thank you

Looking

I look ever day for reasons to praise God. It's not always easy. But if you look you can always find reasons to praise God. Good health, warm home, healthy family, food on the table. The reasons to praise God don't have to be great but the small reasons are just as important. I praise God for all of you on Everyday Outreach, my family, my church family and my neighbors. Keep looking for all that God has blessed you with even the small things. Amen

Testimony

Praising God that I finally finished my room renovation and redo. So there is order again in my space. With the ability to use my sewing machines and looms easily and space for me to draw and work on kids books again. God is good!

January 26 devotional from Joshua concerning possessing the land.

This is my first post but it might be lengthy. The Scripture the Lord brought to my mind was in Genesis when Abraham was told by God his descendants would return where he was at (Canaan) but the sin of the Amorites would have to become full before they could go into the land.

Gen 15:16  But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet Exodus 23:27-30 KJV

I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee. [28] And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee. [29] I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the…

Good point Little Owen...So glad you had time to check in here.

I think God spells out His reasoning in...

Judges 3:1-4

1  Now these are the nations that the LORD left, to test Israel by them, that is, all in Israel who had not experienced all the wars in Canaan.

2  It was only in order that the generations of the people of Israel might know war, to teach war to those who had not known it before.

3  These are the nations: the five lords of the Philistines and all the Canaanites and the Sidonians and the Hivites who lived on Mount Lebanon, from Mount Baal-hermon as far as Lebo-hamath.

4  They were for the testing of Israel, to know whether Israel would obey the commandments of the LORD, which he commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses.

Things may look really tough in life, and it might just be for our testing.

Will we learn and continue to be obedient?

Will we trust God?

As promised here's the testimony of me rapping on the spot to share the Gospel...

context:

For my grandmother's 80th birthday. all daughters, granddaughters, and great granddaughters, came together to celebrate with her. We all went on a road trip to PA for a concert and theater show.

But I had an allergic reaction to a wasp sting right as we were leaving, so I was on 2 benadryl and motion sick meds at the same time, basically a zombie. While in the car with all my cousins slightly stressful.

They all picked the music which was the equivalent to waterboarding. So 3 hours straight of their “music” and praying for them to be spared from those horrible worldviews. We stopped for gas and coffee before the show started.

We started talking about music styles and what each one did and didn't like. Then it was my turn, I replied that I really liked country and hard rock, but I'll listen to anything if it's…

Coincidence or God?

Is it a coincidence or an act of God.

The more I see it, the more I understand that God has his hand in our lives.

OK, the story. It happened weeks ago, and I intended to post it but kept putting it off.

I was in the hospital for....yes a colonoscopy. Not a happy subject.

I did all the prep (like a few days of no solid foods), just clear liquids. And as they say, what goes in must come out.

I was miserable, sitting in a gown. I should mention that i had dreams of not waking up after this, which frightened me. I've been thru this before, but that never happened before. The anesthesiologist came in, the Dr. and the surgical nurse. My wife sees the name tag of the nurse and says, Kora J. That's my latest grand daughters name. That wouldn't be Kora (with a…
