just thankful

I am just thankful for this little group that meets Tuesday through Friday to listen to God's word explained by our bulletproof pastor. I prefer smaller groups and I like meeting the same people. Sure, in person would be nicer, but given our spread-out living circumstances this is quite OK.

But there is one not all that far from me, I think, or at least compared to the rest of the group. Now I need to make plans for a visit.... need a way to contact the little "bee".

May be over the weekend I can put in a praise report that I finally completed the headache taxes, I am procrastinating on🤔

God answers prayers

My son went to work yesterday in his car which is not built for winter weather. The road got slippery and he messaged me to pray because he was concerned about the drive home. He slid and spun out and almost hit a tree but praise God he is okay and so was his car. I know that prayer works because it could have been worse.

Jesus meets my needs

Here's a little background, our minister relies on me quite often. I'm an ordained Elder. I have been part of the Ash Wednesday service for over 15 years. This year I wasn't ask to be apart of the service. Which was good because 1. I don't drive 2. My husband has been working 10+ hour shifts & 3. Ash Wednesday is on a week day. It's very difficult to get to church that's an hour away. I was,as always, on the phone with my sister on Monday. I decided I better check my email. Our pastor sent me the itinerary for Ash Wednesday service informing me I'm the litergist.

It's prayer time now. I told Jesus you know my needs. If it's your will to meet them I'll take it from there. Our son Justin told me he could take me to church and bring me home. Such a blessing…

God is good! There is nothing else I can say, God is so good !


It's been a crazy last few months, but God is gracious and has brought us through. I want to thank you all for your prayers.


My aunt is recovering well and thankfully no surgery was required. Grandfather [dad's side] is adjusting to his new home but alas his true colors are starting to show, may God grant him salvation!


But so thankful that my grandmother [mom's side] is doing much better her levels are all up, and she has passed with flying colors all her physical therapy. And no longer needs that. Thank you all for your prayers. Sadly a family friend passed away during the last few weeks. But she was a believer and the topic of her passing allowed me to share the Gospel with my grandmother. God is still good!


This is a selfish praise report but so thankful we got a new fridge that is working, and we have water again [the pump burned up..] and last but not least a trash can that doesn't leak!!! oh and a new mail box. Snow plow shattered it. Nothing breaks by itself, ever! All those broke within a two day span...


It has been crazy to say the least But God is so kind. He promised He would never leave us nor forsake us and I hold Him to His word! He is altogether trustworthy.


God is our refuge and strength,    a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth give way,    though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam,    though the mountains tremble at its swelling.

Psalm 46:1-3

Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.
