God does has a sense of humor. A few weeks ago I was driving home from a Dr appointment. He said I was fine. Yea. Part way home the car died and I pulled over. Tried to restart and it fired up and stopped again. I noticed steam from under the hood. A few minutes passed, and a car pulled up across from me and an older gentleman (older is relative) and yelled, "Get out your car is on fire." I thought yeah ok, so I got out and walked to the front only to see flames from the front grill. Ok, so now I call 911 and report the fire. The fire dept shows up a few minutes later, and the whole front of the car is engulfed in flames. The radiator blew, and a front tire blew. I kept moving farther away. I mean, my car just stalled out, no big deal. Until the front end was totally burning. If it weren't for that man stopping, I might not have gotten out in time. I thought, very funny, God, but he wasn't laughing at me. He sent someone to save me. Well, long story short, the car was totaled. No insurance money because we had just changed to liability only. But I walked away safely, and I thank God for that. My wife picked me up, and now we need to look for another car. I wonder what God has planned for me next. Only one way to find out. Keep praying and keep living. I hope to have a good laugh with Jesus in the end.
