‘Twas the night before Chemo and

all through the house,

Not a creature was stirring,

Except me on my mouse.

My husband had finished recording

Electric Guitar and the Bass Track,

As I continued production, on the Mac.

Garage Band to the rescue,

And I Movie too.

A quick email, hit send, and off it went.

And for a short sleep, in my chemo kerchief, I went.

Then out of the house we stumbled.

In the car now, we flew.

Straight away to oncology for chemo,

in a room with a view.

They finally hooked me up with pre-meds,

And I knew soon it would feel like night fall.

I put in my earbuds and found the Re-play,

to spend time with y'all.

When what to wondering ears should appear?

“Just Brad” announcing a new song and gushing, yes it felt weird.

But I’m here to give honor

where honor is due too.

For the invite and fast upload of Psalm 105, as if on cue.

“Just a man” with “Just a big heart” encouraging us all to...just do our part.
