My husband's funeral service was more than I could have asked for. It was glorifying to our Saviour. The gospel was preached by both my son Derek and our Pastor Tom Olson. Besides those who were present at our church, Orchard Barrington, many others took advantage of the livestream including my husband's family in India and many of my husband's college classmates, most of whom are Hindus, and those of my family who couldn't attend. Praise God! It was an awesome funeral, as funerals go.... It brought us so much comfort and joy. I can imagine that the unbelievers present thought it odd that the grieving widow (that's me) was not sitting there in tears most of the time, but was grinning with joy from ear to ear. Last winter I was on the chat during the daily Bible study and it may appear like I have left the group. Well this is not the case. As spring got here I needed to start my day earlier as I live in the eastern time zone, and my wife wanted to do the study with me. I was very happy about that. Well as the summer went on and life happens, we now find ourselves about a month behind on the study. I am also now preparing for winter and a slower pace in life. I hope once again to show up in the forums as winter sets in. I am also hoping to spend a lot of time between now and Christmas ringing a bell for the Salvation Army.
