Hello 🙂

Hello everyone. I hope you have had a good week. I won't be getting on the live Devos very much next couple weeks. Things have been busy with the sale and college tours appointments and such. Happy Mothers Day to all the moms and future moms. Prayers for all.

Happy mother's day !

Testimony- (Sad one)

When Pastor Brad asked today: if we push back when God tries to convict us, a moment immediately came to me:

Not all testimonies are going to be happy and joyful. This is one; a heartbreaking true story.

Title could be: “When you don’t do something, you could be sinning.” Or when “God pleads with you, just do it”.

This story is one of the greatest regrets of my life and difficult to write. It was about 26 plus years ago. It was a Wednesday; I remember it well because it was the day the grocery ads sales started. I drove my 6 year old to school, drove to the church I was a member. I had administrative duties at the church, I signed some checks for the church’s secretary, dropped off minutes for the last meeting.

On my way out of the church parking lot, there was a street…

Unfortunately we all have made mistakes that haunt us to this day. We might have asked our Lord for forgiveness-and we know he will, when we ask with a true repentance in our hearts....But as some mistakes I've made in my past...I will NEVER forget or forgive myself. They were hard lessons. I can never forget. Let's just call them the school of hard knocks and be grateful every day for our Lord's forgiveness. Hopefully we never repeat and maybe can help another lost soul through the same issue.

Heaven, How I Got Here

Have a very blessed holy week and a very happy Resurrection Sunday to everyone in the Everyday Outreach Family!

I'd like to share a Youtube video of a presentation of "Heaven, How I Got Here" that was written by Pastor Colin Smith and presented at our church several years ago by Stephen Baldwin. It is a very moving presentation from the perspective of the thief on the cross who put his faith in Jesus. I've watched it several times and am sharing it with as many people as I can, even to a financial advisor who came to my door yesterday seeking my business. 😊 I think it's a great way to share the gospel during this season. Enjoy!

Accountability

@ Steve Gunner Had a wonderful Idea, that we Should hold each other accountable to pray for at least 30 minutes per day and to read our Bibles.

Since we are getting ready to start a new month it is perfect timing.

30 minutes of prayer and 2 chapters of the Bible a day. You can do more, read or listen, divide it up however you want, our goal is not to check boxes and say we did it, our desire is to know our God and make Him known. And to spend time with Him. Because He loves us!

We can hold each other accountable and talk about we have learned during the chit-chat part at the beginning of the devotions.

So if you want to join in, you are most welcome to. “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good!” “His steadfast love endures forever!”
