I just remembered I said I'd share this recipe so sorry for the delay.

Before I give it I know it has boxed ingredients but sometimes you just need something quick and tasty. So don't get on me for it. LOL

Orange cake:

ingredients:

1 boxed yellow or white cake mix

1 box instant vanilla pudding mix

1 box orange jello

4 whole eggs

½ cup veg. Oil

1 cup water

Preheat oven to 350*f

Mix all ingredients together, then beat with mixer [or whisk] for two minutes at medium speed.

Divide into two 8 inch cake pans greased.

Bake for 20-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean in the center. [really depends on your oven]

Let cool trim and ice. I use American buttercream but cream cheese frosting is really good on it too.

Note: you can switch the jello out to make it any flavor you like. I've done strawberry, and pina colata by adding pineapple jello, and flavoring the icing with coconut extract.
