"Such Glory"

Dead and lost He found me,

Oh such bliss and such glory!

All I had was sin and shame,

And vile hatred against His name.

I wanted nothing to do with Him,

But He loved me and put a new heart within;

He pulled me from my prison cell,

And saved me from eternal hell.

God's righteous anger He saved me from,

God's wrath He bore, it is done!

Nothing I could do could save myself,

Not my goodness, nothing of self!

God alone my soul can save,

For it is His law I've disobeyed;

Truly God and Truly man,

Jesus lived the life no one can.

Being perfect, without one blemish,

He died, the Father's will to accomplish;

Thee days later rose from the grave,

Showing He is Mighty to save.

Now when God looks at me,

Christ's Righteousness is all He sees!

Pathetic words I can only pen,

Oh Such Glory! I am made right in Him!
