Mindfulness
Part of my Christian journey is to be more mindful of the many blessings and people I have in my life. It's too easy to go through the motions of every day life and not take the time to remember who is responsible for all of those moments. On easy days when everything goes as I plan I take time to thank God for even the smallest things. Taking care of my family. Cleaning our home. Planting vegetables in the garden. Feeding the chickens and sheep. Sitting in my lounge chair and enjoying the day. But when things don't go as planned or when I'm in a lot of pain I forget to thank God. I forget to enjoy the moments of every day life. All I can think of is why is everything going wrong like a dryer that breaks down on a rainy day, and when will my work be done so I can finally sit down and relax. Yet those are the times when I need to turn to God in Thanksgiving. Praising Him for all he has given to me and my family.
So brothers and sisters in Christ, remember to keep centered in what you're doing and remember that all we do we do to the glory of God. Dirty dishes, barking dogs and broken dryers and arthritis pain can be and are blessings from God our father. Be mindful and thankful for all you have.
Blessings to you all

I can relate to that, Judy. Thank you for the reminder to give thanks in everything.
