Been thinking a lot about heaven, and missing some people lately. And in God's providence this old piece I wrote popped up. Thought to share. Maybe it will help someone. Wrote this about my uncle right after he passed in 2021.

You're Home

It was so hard to see you go,

But deep inside my heart I know;

That you are home forever more,

Dancing on Heaven's shore.

That all your pain and heart aches are past,

And you're with Jesus safe at last!

Even though I miss you so,

Oh what sweet peace to know.

That you are in the arms of God,

And times there are never hard;

I will see you again someday,

When the Lord calls me away.

We'll be reunited home at last,

So till then, to God's promises;

I'll hold to fast!
