Please pray for my Louisiana friend’s Dad. Her name is Amy. His name is Eldridge. Background…. He is a bad diabetic. Refuses to eat right. Had a foot wound that would not heal. Had surgery about 2 weeks ago. Been home on IV antibiotics for 10 ish days, with visiting nurses. Her message to me…this evening. 👇🏻 Update on my dad: He went to the dr this morning and everything was fine. Went to a birthday party for his great grand baby (turned 1 today). At the party dad was sitting and talking like normal and then passed out. Mom thinks that he stopped breathing for a minute. He was brought to the local hospital and admitted for tonight to stabilize him and they are working on getting him transferred to Lafayette Hospital where his drs are located. Hopefully tomorrow. Not sure what caused it. Could be his heart or he’s going septic Thank you

Please join me in praying for my 38 year old niece Lexie, Her husband, her young adult daughter, her high school, age, daughter, to her elementary age daughter and son. She was recently diagnosed with a mass in her abdomen that is pushing on a kidney, has spread into her probably carrier and her lung. The plan is for her to start chemo and radiation in approximately 10 to 14 days. Please join me in praying for this cancer to be taken captive from her body now, to never return. To be fully healed before any chemo or radiation even starts. God can’t do that, and I will pray for that to happen. I asked that you pray in agreement with me for this to be so. Please also join me in praying for the peace of God too overpower all anxiety within her, her husband, her kids, and her mom and dad, as they still try to wrap their head around all of this. and most importantly, pray for them to come to Jesus, and salvation through faith and repentance.

Someone I know posted this on Facebook this morning. I thought it was very timely, based on my current life struggles. Maybe this could even be a conversation starter amongst us to help each other share ways to lean on Our Heavenly Father when the people let us down or cause us pain or difficulties. I thought others might want or need to read this right now. I have no idea who wrote it. I’m pretty sure it was a copy and paste from them to Facebook. “Who Do You Trust? Maybe it’s a dream you’re holding onto, or a promise you’ve been given. Maybe you’re waiting on a person to change, or a situation to shift. Maybe you’re waiting for a prayer to be answered, joy to replace sorrow, or clarity and hope to replace confusion and chaos. It can be difficult in the midst of pain, loss, and suffering to patiently cling to the One who promises to come through for us. Isaiah was a prophet to the leaders of Judah during a time of national corruption and spiritual destitution. He foretold of his people being dragged away into exile because they were trusting in idols, political rulers, and other momentary things. But Isaiah also reminded the people that God was sovereign, God would bring them out of exile, and God would one day send a savior to rescue them forever. Isaiah didn’t live to see all his prophecies fulfilled—but he held onto the hope that he prophesied about, and his words to the people of Israel can continue to encourage us today. Trust in the Lord even when circumstances don’t make sense. Trust in the Lord even when you’re suffering. Trust in the Lord even when your heart is breaking. Come what may, trust in the Lord. Seasons may shift, situations may change, people may abandon, desert, or betray you—but the one who remains constant throughout history is the God over history. The Lord is unchanging and immovable. Nothing can stand against Him or overcome Him. He knows what it’s like to suffer because He suffered for us. And so we can trust God because He keeps His promises—and He has promised to fight for us, never leave us, make a way for us, love us, protect us, and remain faithful to us. Since God is our salvation, we can trust Him and not be afraid. So come what may, let’s choose today to trust in the Lord.“
