This is a funny post, but nonetheless to me much praiseworthy.

So, it was my birthday and hubby had asked the day before if we should go out to eat. We just about never do; I prefer my own simple and healthy food, seriously! I figured I could work around in the garden all day to my hearts delight and not have to make a meal, instead we would check out the newly renovated, changed owner Italian place in town. ^ PM we got all dressed up (not really!) jumped in the car and found that they are not open THAT day. So home we went and I threw together birthday soup and made bananasplits for dessert. What a wonderful, fast meal we enjoyed with dessert, all for under $10 total. Hubby often says he does not know anyone who eats so well and cheap and good. Thankful he likes…

Baby Alfie turned 2 weeks old on Sunday! She is doing so well! Up to 4 lbs 14 oz! And…. SHE GOT TO GO HOME YESTERDAY AFTERNOON!!!!!! She finally got to meet her big sister, who already adores her!!

Want to thank you all so much for the prayers! Everyone is mostly stable at the moment. Life's been crazy! but God is so faithful! Just can't find the words to praise Him. He's just too good! And have even had some witnessing opportunities in the midst of the craziness God is good!

But huge praise my grandmother is out of the ICU and no longer needs oxygen! Just got to figure out her heart before they can send her home. God is so good!

God is good! We had a very cold night the other day, down to 39 degrees. Then heated back up to 70s but during that cold snap my grandmother's heater stopped working. Thanking God that it was found out while it got warmer outside and we weren't waiting for repairs during the winter. God is good!
