I had to pick Alli (19) up from work this morning and take her to ER. Her HR dropped as low as 43 setting off alarms on her monitor and then when she sat up or stood her heart rate

went over 100. 130 once. They did an EKG, labs, chest xray, IV fluids wide open. They determined that she was having an acute POTS episode. She has Dysautonomia with PITS/SYNCOPE. Something she showed no signs or symptoms of having before COVID. She has not had the jab.

(She does have hypogammaglobulinemia and is immunodeficient. We go every 4 weeks for her to receive IVIG at the Children’s hospital that is about 3 hours away from our home.)
