In preparing for hip replacement surgery I was to meet with my primary doctor for pre-op checkup. She was not available so I was assigned a resident working under her. I Met with this new doc this morning. Very nice, professional, personable and good listener. All good.

One of my prayers during this surgery prep time is I would meet some medical professionals who were true believers in Jesus. Near the end of the appointment today she stated she wished me well on the upcoming surgery and seemed to hesitate a bit. I thanked her & said my ladies prayer group were praying for all to go well, as of course, I was doing too. At that she perked up and asked if I would like her to also pray for me, right then and there! She stated she was a Christian and that she prayed in the name of Jesus and asked the LORD to guide her steps each day to show and share the Love of Jesus! Answered prayer again from my Savior. What a blessing. After her residency is completed I’m planning on changing to her as my primary physician.
