I shared last week that the new iron supplement is working very well for me. By the grace of God I have bounced back to being the energizer bunny as my friends call me.
But I am specifically praising God that it has made me able to tolerate heat again. As long as I can remember I have always been very sensitive to heat. I'd go out and when I got over heated, would feel like I was going to pass out. But now I am able to actually function out in the heat and my body is now adjusting to the different temperatures, by sweating etc. which I can't remember the last time I actually broke a sweat even when doing the same work. Just got very hot then almost pass out. But now it is different. It is so weird but yet so nice!
And thank God I can tolerate the heat again all the work that should have been done in spring now has to be done in the summer. But one step at a time. Gaining ground and trying to turn the outside into a garden instead of a jungle. Easier said than done.
But As the hymn says, “No more let sins nor sorrows grow! Nor thorns infest the ground! He comes to make His blessings flow far as the curse is found!” And the curse is certainly found in the thorns and thistles and weeds that have grown as tall as me... And the wood piles that have stinging insects in them now as result of not being messed with.
But Jesus is on the throne and reigning, and the dominion mandate still stands along with the great commission. And have already had some good conversations with the neighbors as they see me trying to take dominion. And almost up to a cord of wood ready for winter. One more to go. But worry is a sin so I'll leave it in God's hands it always works better that way. He'll provide the wood and ability to get it all done.
