Testimony seems to be a scary word to some. I assure you it isn’t. Lets break it down this year. When you realize God is involved in your everday life, jot it down and be an encouragement or a warning to others.
Let me dwell in your tent forever! Let me take refuge under the shelter of your wings! Selah
Psalm 61:4
Amen Delanie!
Praising God my uncle brought us more wood yesterday, it was already split and seasoned. And I was able to get it all stacked under cover before last night's rain. God is so good!
Also praising God that I got a %100 on my math test. Thank you all for the prayers about that.
Thanking God I got up on time this morning, My poor habits over the holidays, and some genetic sleep issues are making it hard to get a good routine/schedule. Selfishly I ask you to pray that I don't “crash and burn” tomorrow. Usually I do good on sleep schedule for one or two nights then I fall back to a bad one.
So thankful that all my furniture came in and is assembled for my room redo, and it should be all the way put back together by tomorrow evening. It looks like a tornado came through and a bomb went off in my room at the moment. But not getting discouraged by that and pressing on toward the goal of a space I can be more fruitful and productive in, Lord willing.
God is so good, many little random opportunities for evangelism and blessing the church have come up. I'll share more on them later. Praying I'm faithful in them, not slack or afraid to step out in faith.
Well nothing major to report, But God is so good and faithful! And praise Him for redeeming us and bringing us into His Kingdom and adopting us as His Children. What a wonderful God we serve!
Matthew 28! Onward!
Much love and many prayers to you all.
Your sister in Christ,
Delanie Bee.
Well today has been nuts! But God is so good and faithful!
Woke up this morning {4:30ish}to dad running around dealing with pipes. Because some of the pipes had frozen, and it was caught just in time. He was getting ready for bed [has sleep problems from health issues] when it was found out. He moved the dryer and got a space heater to thaw out the inside pipe, but we had to wait till around 12:15 for it all to thaw for the sun to hit that side of the house for the part under the house. But everything thawed out and is working fine now! Thank God!
Nothing had burst but half the house had cold water and the other half had hot water till it thawed all the way. God is so good! And I want to thank you all for praying. Nothing broken just, frightening for a bit.
Well never a dull moment!
Much love and many prayers,
Yours in Christ,
Delanie Bee.
PS. Matthew 28! Onward! You thought I forgot. :-)
This week has been crazy! But God is so good!
After Church and taking care of grandparents I felt really tired and laid down for a bit, woke up fevered and had a 24 hour flu.
God is gracious and let me recover before I had to babysit Monday night, because my aunt's sister had to have surgery. I had a wonderful time with my cousin. We watched movies and played in the snow. And thankfully the surgery went well and she is recovering. I ask you to pray for her salvation. Hopefully my uncle, aunt, and myself [all Christians] pitching in to take care of her will let her have a taste of God's goodness. That's a huge praise we were able to serve her and “back up our preaching” so to speak.
The evening my uncle came to pick up little man, was able to have dinner with him and fellowship. God is good!
Well they went home, it had been a long day, and I wanted to have a hot bath and go to sleep. I got a new soap that smelled really good so I ran the bath with it. Well it caused me to have a really bad allergic reaction. Rash and hives from my shoulders down, and because it was in the water the steam caused my throat and lungs to react.
Thank God I was able to get out as soon as it started took Benadryl. And it all calmed down. I praise God for His hand of Providence and for sparing me. Something like that can put things in perspective real quick. I am secure in Christ, but for those who are not I can't even imagine not having peace in Him. Remember the only reason we are here is to know Him and make Him known. Matthew 28! Onward! He is risen indeed!
Ups and downs, but God is so good and faithful! You can always find a reason to praise God!
Oh part two on my sneaky little bless-er! [My 10 year old cousin who lives next door, caught my chickens and fixed the hole in the coop for me while I was busy with school.] The next day, I was taking care of the chickens, walking back to the house I saw the repair again and prayed “Lord please show how I can bless him back.” And as soon as I finished saying that, I looked down and saw where he was reloading he bb rifle, he spilled all the bbs in the snow and couldn't get them out. Well right before I went outside I was cleaning a bin and found an extra brand new pack of bbs. You can't tell me that was coincidence! God is so good! I gave them to him and thanked him, saying I saw what you did, thank you! He teared up and thanked me back for the new bbs. And we had an hour or so long conversation as I was getting wood ready for the incoming snow. And he even helped me by making kindling for me! So sweet! Our conversations are getting deeper and going towards spiritual things. May God be pleased to save him and the rest of the family!
God is so good!
Love and prayers to you all
Delanie Bee
First of all, Thank God I am completely out of braces ankles, arm, and knee are healed! Woo hoo! Now I can get back to doing my normal stuff.
I've been saving up and finally got to the point where I could redo my bedroom. There is an L shaped desk that is large enough for my laptop to be up and for me to have writing room at the same time! I am so happy! Usually if I draw or write I have to sit the computer on a box. Now I can do both! And a bookcase that is big enough to hold all my books so they are not siting in stacks next to the dresser.
My poor father, God bless him! He assembled all the furniture for me. He's so sweet! I am, and I quote “Verboten! From assebling any furniture!“ Ever since I put a cabinet together hilariously wrong. Uneven shelves inside it... ooops! [i fixed it though] :-)
I shared before that 5 of my 6 new chicks turned out to be roosters... [they go bye bye on the 10th, Lord willing] But till then I had to separate them from the hens because they were to violent to them. I was supposed to fix the coop and run this fall but ankles and knees kept me from it. Now I'm better everything is frozen. So I rigged it to keep the hens safe and the roosters safe till processing. Not ideal but it worked.
Now I have two little cousins who live next door to me [blessed to be surrounded by family] they're ages 9 and 11. They had snow days and have been playing in our yard because the snow is thicker here than in their yards.
Yesterday after the devo I went out to walk the dog, and of them was walking over at the same time, “HEY LANIE! ALL YOUR CHICKENS ARE OUT!” So I went about the process of catching them all. He helped me catch them and we were laughing because one of the chickens was on top of the shed. He was throwing snow balls trying to get it to fly down. Too cute!
I thanked him for helping me, showed him the pens, I fixed the hole in the roosters' holding pen as best I could. And apologized for them getting out, and offered him some hot cocoa. He said it was no problem and he had fun helping catch them.
Fast forward to today, I went to feed the chickens, they were all in! As I counted them I saw two little sets of foot prints... They had patched the escape hole I couldn't find ! Apparently they had gotten out while I was doing my school work yesterday, they caught them and fixed it for me! So sweet! I started tearing up. It was so sweet and touching made me focus and thank God for His blessings. Now I've got to find a sneaky way to bless them back.
Nothing fancy but God is so good and takes care of us! Now to shovel 6-8 inches before the next snow storm.
Remember everything points to Matthew 28! Onward!
Yours in Christ,
Delanie bee.
If you woke up this morning, you are blessed with another opportunity. Go after it
