Years ago I attended a Luthern church with my children in TX. We were welcomed with open arms and my son went into the nursery my daughters into Sunday school. So I wasn't busy so they invited me to a Bible study so we could attend the later service. The study was nice and then they asked if anyone had a testimonial. A lady spoke up about her experience. The couple were driving home on a low tank of gas. The light went on and a bell dinged. OUT OF GAS. So she prayed to the lord to help them make it home on fumes. And the rest of the story is that they made it home safe and sound, bless the lord.
The next rest of the story was when they asked for comments, most people agreed it was a miracle. This is when they might have regretted inviting me to the Bible study.
I asked when did the miracle actually happen? Here's when the trouble started.
I said the lord our God created the heaven and earth, and man and woman made in his image. He gave us self will, understanding, and curiosity and morals, we are born with them. So generations later man creates a car. How do we know when it's out of gas? When it stops running. Well someone came up with a gas gage. When it's on E you are empty. Another person mentioned what good is it to tell someone they are out of gas, we could give them a warning, like a light or a bell when the tank is low. Well I'm sure it was discussed among them. One said people are stupid, give them 3 gallons.
No, they might get used to that, only give them 2. Do you know when the light goes on and the bell dings how far you can go?
I think God granted that miracle long before you were born. Do miracles happen every day? Yes, when my children were born that was one of God's miracles I got to see. Does he do them everyday, yes, did he do them thousands of years ago? Yes. What do you think
