What is something you enjoy canning? I just can't make enough garbanzo beans. Since going plant based three months ago, I use these in so many recipes.

One of my favorites is Chicken Broth to get a delicious BONE Broth very easily. I love how quick and easy this is. My teen son does it all the time even without us. (Its also nice if you have the Nesco Electric canner that does 4 quarts, when you need small batches to replace.)
1 Quart Jar
1 Chicken Leg or Thigh (only remove skin)
1 baby carrot or 1 Tbsp Dehydrated Carrot
3 Peppercorns
1 Tbsp Dehydrated Celery or 2 Tbsp fresh diced
1 tsp Pink Himalayan Salt or non-iodized
Put it all in jar, fill with purified water. Clean rims, add top and ring. Put in canner. Check your book for chicken in quarts. I believe with bones its 75 min.
This is the best bone broth you'll ever have. We even reuse the bones one more time. We label a freezer bag, put the bones in from that broth after we've strained it to use. Then when ready to make more broth we use them one more time and its still great.
