Thank you all for prayers❤️
As we travel new territories and aftermath from Helene's tantrum, things return to the best they can right now. You want to see ppl at their best ( and worst - shootings over gas 🤦🤦😢) my confidence is in my Lord and savior. I have been through some tight and ruff times ( as we all have at some time) but even when I wasn't walking with my Savior HE was still walking with me 😊 HE has protected me in hijackings and kidnappings and provided for me while living in a borrowed camper. HE won't forsake me now.
Medically, will get there,..all in the Lords timing 👍
Again thank you all for your prayers and I lift y'all in prayer as well, the Lord knows each of our needs, our struggles and our strengths.
I got a word in prayer the other night " what is my Church doing for my sheep" I reached out to some of the ppl in my local Church and they got the same message... we are putting together a team of directors ( as most of us are seniors) to supervise or do repairs, deliver food find shelter or even open our own houses up, as many of us are " empty nesters" ... HE called, it's time to pick up the " phone" and answer it 👍😊
3F, I understand exactly what you're talking about. The former men's group that I was leading did the exact same thing, no just at the church, but for our shut-in congregants as well. Unfortunately, after my massive heart attack and subsequant open heart surgery, the men's group desolved. Churches don't seem to realize that men's groups are usually made up by older men who wish to pass on their knowledge and experiences both in the church and experience outside of the church and how they handled the situations. I pray you are able to make a massive difference with your group.
Don
I continue to lift you and all the other people affected by the hurricane. And I will be praying for your team of directors and everything you are doing to reach out to those in need.
