The way out country is going is scary. I have been leaning more on our Lord lately than I ever have. I need to learn more about getting ready on our homestead and in my spiritual life
Consider watching this sermon with an open King James Version Bible that makes everything clear for you on this very important topic that confuses many and we know that God is not the author of confusion. May God continue to bless us all.
Not a long post at all. Well put and eloquently said. I am comfortable knowing that my God exists as trinity even though I cannot fully comprehend it. Much like gravity, eternity, and time, I accept that it is without needing to understand how it works. Thanks for posting.
Hello everyone. I hope it's ok to share a thought. About the Trinity and trying to comprehend it I know is simply impossible other than catch a little glimpse of God's glory.
1 Corinthians 13:8-13 KJV
Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. [9] For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. [10] But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. [11] When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. [12] For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. [13] And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
Only when we see our saviour face to face will we fully know Him and the deep things of God. For instance I'm so amazed at any subject like the tabernacle Moses received in the wilderness. The Lord told Moses see that you build it exactly after the pattern that I will give you in the mount. Every single stitch of minute and intricate detail of that tabernacle points to Jesus Christ ! Amen ! So God uses things we can sort of relate to to reveal Himself. It goes even deeper than Father Son Holy Spirit. Christ is our Passover Christ is our Prophet Christ is our High Priest Christ is our King Christ is our Intercessor Christ is our Rock and on and on.
So sorry to make such a long post guys. I guess on this side of the Jordan we just catch a little glimpse of His goodness and ways.
Romans 11:33 KJV
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
I read in one of Chuck Misslers books an example of God being outside of our timeline. I copied Chuck Misslers quote where he's talking about the Word of God being given to us from outside of our time domain. God declares the end from the beginning. Amen! And I definitely agree with you BP Devo it's a stretch to comprehend.
"One way to authenticate the message is to demonstrate that its source is from outside of our time domain. God declares, “I alone know the end from the beginning.”6 His message includes history written in advance.
An illustrative example is that of a parade. As we might sit on the curb and observe the many bands, marching units, floats, and other elements coming around the corner and passing in front of us, the parade is—to us—clearly a sequence of events. However, to someone who is outside the plane of the parade’s existence—say, in a helicopter above the city—the beginning and the end can be simultaneously in view."
Yes Little Owen! This is exactly what I was thinking! I just never applied it to what I thought I remembered BP Devo mentioning about Jesus and the Holy Spirit and the separating of the Spirit from Jesus timing. Don’t understand but accept the truth of it.
As for Chuck Misslers quote…I have applied it in illustrations of other Biblical events ever since I heard him share it. We helped lead worship for his Bible Study in Idaho, of Revelation many years ago. Chuck was a brilliant, godly man. My head still hurts these days when I listen to his recordings and try to comprehend all, but it’s well worth it. Like he said we need only understand the first 65 books to grasp the 66th. He also said that all the answers are in the back of the Book.☺️ Revelation it is!
You would be hard pressed to find ANY Bible commentary on either Daniel's end time prophesy or the book of Revelation. They were a closed book that none understood. Jesus taught that the Holy Spirit would come and indwell believers for three purposes. Sealing our salvation as the earnest, producing good works as fruit of His presence, and enlightenment to understand the Word of God. The last purpose is found in John 16:12-13 "I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
The takeaway here is that some things are not bearable for us to understand, and some things are not revealed to everyone or until the Spirit chooses to disclose them. I Corinthians 2:14-16 "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ."
Anything we believers understand of the Word of God is due to the Holy Spirit giving us illumination. If God has for some reason reserved certain understanding for a future time, illumination for that is withheld. Such is exactly the case for Daniel's end time prophesy, and he records his instructions for us in Daniel chapter 12. Vs4 - "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end:" Vs9 - "And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end."
It can hardly be said that the Bible does not contain the teaching of the catching away of saints, but it is evident that theologians have not understood this teaching until recent. The outpouring of commentary, correlation between Daniel's prophesy and Revelation, and our world quickly descending into likeness of end time descriptions, is nothing short of amazing. I believe we can all agree, the end times are very near. The unsealing of these things in this day, is telling.
There was a question on the LIVE about when the Rapture began to be taught. I was re reading the scriptures you shared, and noticed this one in a new light.
1Th 4:17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
Paul was talking to Jewish believers, who thought their loved ones who had already died, missed the Rapture. But here Paul says, WE who are alive and remain shall be caught UP together with them in the clouds.
Paul was believing in and preaching this caught up, long before what some say that the Rapture teaching began (1800’s with Darby) What do you think Tyler?
It is interesting that with each "rapture" timing opinion, there are very positive elements to take away. There are also difficulties with each. The one thing we must conclude is that none of us "knows for sure" BUT we will as soon as it happens.

Question: Something you mentioned has been rolling around with my marbles this past weekend Tyler.
I’ve never heard or considered that the Holy Ghost/Spirit is the disembodied Spirit of Jesus.
Trying to understand it.
We are made in God’s image.
Three in one.
However, in the beginning the Spirit hovered over the deep.
The Spirit descended at the baptism of Christ.
They were already separate.
Yet we are told that Jesus must leave His death) for our Comforter/The Holy Spirit to arrive and indwell us.
Might God being outside of the restraint of time play into this or what am i missing?
