How many times do you see meme's on your FB page that reads "If God has Saved you in your life...Post Amen? Well, I stopped and really thought about that the other day. I realized God/Jesus has saved me A LOT! I remember being very young and sitting at the bottom of a city pool. I looked up and watched people running all over. The water was so cool and peaceful. The next thing I remember was an hand reaching for me and pulling me out. I don't remember anything after that. I asked my older sister if she remembered this...She said no, we were too young and her memory didn't go back that far-We're both retired now. I often wondered if I was or did drowned that day. Another time-we were probably 8-10. My family was camping at a new campgrounds. My sister and I took off to check the place out. My sister thought the lake looked small and that we could walk all the way around it. Short story...We were lost for around 12 hours. We found a field-thank goodness no bulls, and found a hwy. It was getting dark. Found a house and asked for help. The lady turned us away and said to check a mile up the road at a nearby campgrounds. As we were coming over a hill in the dark we saw our dad. The whole dang county had been looking for us. From hitch hiking and riding with questionable truckers, being robbed in my apt at gun point and being in an old converted school bus that flipped over in a wreck...with the back opening up mere inches from my head. I'd say our Lord hasn't just Saved my soul, He has Saved my physical life as well. I can't remember when I 1st realized the concept of a Superior being or one that Loved us and was a Father to us, But I feel like he has always been there for me. AND I AM SO GRATEFUL! THANK YOU LORD!
